McCarthy Properties was established in 1989 by entrepreneur, property investor and landlord Richard McCarthy to provide his personally owned, quality rental accommodation in Reading directly to tenants without the unnecessary complications and expense of using a letting agent.

Over the years McCarthy Properties has earned the prized reputation of being one of Readings leading private rented property providers, directly employing a dedicated team of maintenance engineers to ensure properties are kept up to Richard McCarthy's exacting standards.

Richard is very proud that most of the applicants come by way of recommendations, many of whom find a long term home with McCarthy Properties. Although initial contracts are for a six month periods many people chose to stay in their home for many years.
